You can apply for a credit card with no credit history at all. You simply need to provide proof of your income. Here's what you'll need to provide:
- Submit a copy of your Notice of Assessment from IRAS, which states your total earnings
- 3 most recent payslips to prove you are currently employed
- Your monthly CPF contributions (depending on the bank requirement)
- Credit cards are also more likely to be approved if you have no outstanding loans on your name.
It is best to check with the bank directly to know more of the criteria.
